I recently bought a used new style PTU to replace my old style PTU,which I think was behind the bad performance of my engine.I tried to fit the pigtails of the older style into the newer style but the engine didn't start(input from 1till E and output from 1 till 6).I then realized that the ''ground'' connection has been change to a different place in the newer style.tried to rewire the input connections into the following sequence:1 2 3 G 4 5 6.also the engine didn't start.I think there is still something wrong with the wiring and I should buy the wiring harness for the conversion. My important question:Did I damage the PTU with the wrong wiring?
